This beautifully composed nude, with broad colorful brushstrokes, creates an intimate look at a middle-aged woman comfortable in her own skin, obviously posing for this piece. It is evocative without being crude and captivating without a sense of cliche. Despite a minor scrape on bottom right of canvas board and a knick in the frame itself on base (see photos), this piece remains in good condition. Frame is faux wood.
