Limited edition lithograph published in 1983 by George Braziller for the Museum of Modern Art, New York and printed by Ernst Wurtelsteiner, Munich, after Matisse Jazz published in 1947 by Tériade in a limited edition of 250 copies. Using copy number 43 of the original portfolio, the MoMA edition was created to faithfully reproduce the original 1947 Jazz, including being printed on large-format paper close to the size of the original. Original Matisse Jazz prints are now extremely valuable, making prints from the 1983 MoMA edition popular with collectors, being the finest Jazz reproductions available.
