Titled "Fog in the Piedmont," this landscape painting captures a rolling landscape with wildflowers and a cloud-filled sky above. Unframed, the work is signed and titled to the lower edge of each. Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
