Excellent representation of a Jewish Rabbi studying by candlelight. Done in rich earthy brown tones and with golds and ivory tones. It is signed Nissan and carries the inscription on the back "Purchased Nov. 1985 at Jaffa Gate in Tel Aviv, Israel.
