$2,600

Fabulous 1986 Mark Lavatelli original one-of-a-kind framed crossroads abstract expressionism artwork, encaustic painting technique on paper. Hand-signed, dated, and titled by the artist with pencil on the back. This unique artwork is a vibrant abstract piece that uses a dynamic composition of geometric shapes. Features an energetic interplay of intersecting lines and angular planes, creating a sense of depth and movement. The composition is unbalanced yet harmonious, with shapes pushing against each other and overlapping to define different zones within the frame. The color scheme is bold and contrasted, combining various shades of blue, green, pink, yellow, black, and cream. It is presented in a simple, natural light maple wood frame with plexiglass. The artwork within the frame is set off by a wide white mat, which provides a clean and elegant presentation that allows the artwork itself to be the focal point. This exquisite artwork is a breathtaking piece of collectible art.
