Vintage 1987 Black & White Photo ( Lmt. Ed.) of the street scene in Warsaw, then Communist Poland, shot on film. It belongs to the series called "Benches" showing people interacting with each other while seating on public benches. There is a story (or several stories) behind most of my photos; it's my personal way of storytelling. People on this image are almost all strangers, who sit close to each other to seek comfort found in another human being. My photographs are part of permanent exhibitions of Lodz Museum of Modern Art and Sejna Gallery in Poland, as well as in private collections in US and Europe.
