Titled Bridge and Garden, this painting is brightly colorful with loud greens, purples, blues, and reds in a splay of abstracted foliage and blooms. A red bridge dominates the left of the painting. Signed and dated to the lower right, the painting and is titled verso and displayed in a black frame. Gwen Doppler was an avid Chicago-born artist who received an art degrees from the University of Illinois and then taught elementary art in Chicago and Cincinnati.
