A 1989 oil on cut canvas painting by the American artist Anthony Louis Popcheff (1954-2003). Titled "Happy Jack," this abstract work depicts vibrant green paint against a gray background accented with bright pink, purple, red, and blue. Displayed in a black frame and a white mat, the painting is signed, titled, and dated to the verso. Anthony "Tony" Louis Popcheff was born in Colorado and was a self employed artist. He graduated from John Herron School of art in 1985 and had a thirty year affiliation with Editions Limited and Alliance Gallery Indianapolis Museum of Art.
