Diane Stolz was born in New York City, NY on October 26, 1939 and passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024 in Kansas City, MO. She grew up in Long Island and moved to Kansas City with her husband, Anthony Stolz, and two children Thomas and Elizabeth Stolz in 1978. Diane attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1959 and appeared in off Broadway plays. Then she attended the State University of New York and later attended the University of Missouri in Kansas City (UMKC) where she completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in piano pedagogy. Also, Diane had a successful career in art having signature memberships in American Artist Professional League (AAPL), Missouri Watercolor Society, Pastel Degas Society and Missouri Pastel Society (MAPS). Diane taught piano for 40 years and had many students who successfully were awarded college scholarships throughout her career.
