This 19th Century painting is in the original stunning gilt frame with acanthus leaf corners. Two gentlemen are captured mid chat in this charming moment. Signed on the back by James Kerr Lawson. James Kerr-Lawson was born in Scotland in 1864. He studied in Rome & Paris and was a landscape, portrait and decorative painter. He died in London in 1939.
