One of a kind and incredibly detailed small dioramas framed in the original gold wooden frames. They have an export stamp written in German with possibly a Prussian eagle. There is also a wax seal. One is a landscape with a tall tower with a cross on top, a horse and buggy and people walking in the road and a city in the background. The other is a river scene with a tunnel and a horse and rider on the road. Every time I look at them I see something else! I believe the March 1931 date might be the date these were originally purchased Size: each one is 7.25” w, 6.75” h, and 2.75” d Condition: one frame does show separation on the corners and has a small chip on lower left of the frame. Some loss of finish to the sides of both frames. The glass on the river scene is a bit clouded on the left inside.
