We are selling this well executed copy of an oil painting by Domenico Morelli. The original painting is titled Torquato Tasso legge la Gerusalemme Liberata ad Eleonora d'Este by the Italian artist Domenico Morelli (1826-1901). We believe this to be a late 19th or early 20th century copy and it is signed with a pretty, but illegible signature, in the lower right. Condition: Has signs of restoration including a repaired tear visible on the front and back. General antique age wear.
