2 Paul Revere Pottery Brochures Framed Early 20th Century Saturday Evening Girls

Chairish

$229

Extremely rare, two 8 page fold out advertising brochures for the Paul Revere Pottery / Saturday Evening Girls line of ceramic household products. Made famous as an ARTS & CRAFTS signature brand of pottery, the SATURDAY EVENING GIRLS was comprised of immigrant and local Boston women who worked for Paul Revere Pottery hand decorating a line of pottery on the weekends to earn extra money. The brochures are eight pages, double sided, fold outs that have been mounted so that all eight pages are displayed. Each brochure measures 25" wide and 9" high. There are three pages in color the rest in B&W. The frame has glass. These brochures are extremely rare. The time period of the production was the late 19th and early 20th century. This period was noted for ceramics manufacture by companies such as GRUEBY, MARBLE HEAD, DEDHAM in the Boston, MA area and Stickley Mission furniture.
