A pair of Chinese porcelain landscape plaques, with finely painted landscapes in blue and white glazes of river and mountain scenes with receding peaks fading into the distance in Chinese aerial perspective. Each plaque is signed, with a short inscription in caoshu script and a small seal mark. The two plaques are mounted in matching, original, Chinese, hongmu frames with original bronze hangers and a finely carved, and reticulated, ovoid cartouche of a Fu Bat above peaches and a lucky coin amid stylized vines at the top and bottom of the frame.
