Circa 1950's colorful abstract street scene watercolor painting by Helen Sophia Barth in blues, reds, yellows and greens. Enough colors to go with anything! Executed on heavy watercolor art paper, initialed lower right. Ms. Barth (1920-2012) was a prolific midcentury painter hailing from the Philadelphia PA area, who studied art at the Fleisher Art Memorial program of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which is the oldest community-based art program in America. (Work is rectangular, though the perspective in the main image distorts its shape).
