Original monoprint by Patricia Monson (1941-2019) (MFA, Tufts University, 1987 / Certificate School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 1981). Bold and bright large-scale color field original monoprint from the 1970s (date approximated according to similar work from the artist). Unframed. Printing ink on cotton rag paper. The piece is unsigned, which allows for more freedom to hang as desired -- landscape or portrait orientation. Purchased from the artist's studio. The piece was stored folded in half -- the fold is visible, but will still frame well and be a bright and bold original piece. The price takes the fold into consideration, and the fold is accurately depicted in photos. The print is otherwise in good vintage condition. A 1" tear in the paper is present on the edge near one of the red fields, see photos. Will not detract once framed. A few very faint and small discolorations on the white border -- some is what appears to be an ink splash from original printing process. Very small pinholes present near 3 corners -- see photographs. This print will ship rolled. Dimensions: Paper: width: 30" height: 37" Art: width: 21.5" height: 27.75"
