Purchased in Beverly Hills by Southern California artist Bradford J. Salamon, this oil on canvas is titled New Mexico, II and is an abstract painting of the New Mexico landscape with its' huge boulders along 1-40 heading east towards California. Having recently made the drive from New Orleans to Los Angeles via Santa Fe, this painting struck us as did the artist Bradford whom we purchased it from. The colors are soothing and peaceful and the large scale has worked in our California Mediterranean den and our mid-century modern New Orleans home and was most recently residing in my office in a Leed-certified (green) building. I have spent hours gazing at this painting and due to our large appetite for art, we determined this piece might want to see if she can find a new home. This piece is a chameleon and will find a happy home in many spots.
