This 1973 watercolor on paper abstract is by Irish-born artist Jacob Semiatin (1915-2003). During the 1930s and 1940s, Semiatin exhibited with the Brooklyn Society of Artists, alongside Gerard Schneider, Nicolas de Staël, and Jackson Pollock. After serving in World War II, he exhibited at The Brooklyn Museum, the Contemporary Arts Gallery, The Galerie Internationale in New York, Glass Gallery, and Ariel Gallery. Signed and dated lower right. The piece will be shipped in an archival mat to fit a standard sized frame. Presented by Lost Art Salon.
