Joshua Schicker is a still young artist, resident of Phoenix, AZ, who has used the Southwest Landscape as source material for his abstract paintings. Yet in spite of his relative youth he has assembled a significant circle of collectors looking for his work. This painting is among his best "early work", done in the past four years, and beautifully represents the direction and still of his oeuvre.
