Framed Dimensions: 18.5 H x 22.5 W x 2 D Inches Born in Switzerland in 1934, Max Gunther first studied in Zurich and, subsequently, in Paris. He lived and exhibited in both Scandinavia and London before settling in Italy. After 1953, he lived in Rome, traveling frequently to exhibitions of his work throughout Europe and the United States. Gunther exhibited internationally with success and is listed in art reference works including Benezit's Dictionnaire des Peintres, Sculpteurs, Dessinateurs, et Graveurs. Reference: E.
