Beautiful handmade African Gurunsi butterfly or hawk ceremonial mask from the Bwa people of Burkina Faso. The mask is approximately 20.5” long, 4” wide and 1.25” deep. I don’t know what kind of wood the mask is carved from, but it is very lightweight. It already has a wire attached for hanging.
