The expressive treatment of the faces and the humorous tone are characteristic of Andries Both's style, influenced by Italian street scenes and grotesque figures. Dimensions: – Frame: 36 x 29 cm – Canvas: 26 x 20 cm A painting of interest to fans of 17th-century Nordic genre scenes.
