A fine oil on canvas painting by Agnes Augusta Talboys (1863-1940/41) delightfully titled "Pussies in conference" signed lower right and also Inscribed on a label verso, late 19th century in date. The painting delightfully presents a litter of six kittens on a rug. The artist used very vibrant colours to add some mystery to the scenery and contrast the vivid light in the background. Housed in its beautiful and original giltwood frame.
