Educated in the south of France she studied art at the Ecoles des Beaux Arts in Toulon. She also lived in Paris for several years where she attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts (Place des Vosges). In 1985 she went back to Martinque where she went to the CMAC (Centre Martiniquais d' activities culturelles). She has been living in San Francisco since 1988.
