Title: Social Artist: Alfred Phillips Medium: Acrylic on Canvas Alfred Phillips Social captures a candid urban moment between two individuals, blending realism with expressive abstraction. The painting features a man seated on a public trash bin, engrossed in his phone, while another figure leans in, seemingly engaged in conversation or observation. The muted yet dynamic background swirls in warm earth tones, suggesting the vibrancy of city life while also drawing attention to the contrast between human connection and digital absorption. The interplay of light, shadow, and texture highlights Phillips signature approach, bringing depth to both the subjects and the atmosphere. Social reflects modern interactions where technology and human presence coexist, often blurring the lines of engagement and disconnection.
