Lumis painted w/ Leonard Ochtman, Parker Hayden at the New York Summer School in Cos Cob, &with Hugh Breckenridge at his School of Art in Gloucester, Ma, she joined the National Association of Women Painters & Sculptors, & founded the Academic Artists Association.
