An old Woman is an original modern artwork realized in the first half of the 20 Century. Original drawing realized in pencil on paper. Quite good conditions: along the margins f the sheet there are some rips. Fresh modern artwork realized with a soft pencil; it depicts the draft for an artwork. We see an elderly woman sitting on a bench holding a bundle, perhaps a child. The stretch is very rapid and fresh. On the back of the painting we see a second draft with some preparatory writings and we read the name, perhaps it is the name of the author ''G. Cornel''. The stroke of the pencil is very rapid and soft at the same time and it testifies the artist's great ability to portray the human figure with very quick and rapid strokes.
