This is a beautifully rendered floral painting on a matte custard colored piece of glass. Most paintings of this era and style are painted and reversed, displayed in a flat style...but this particular piece is forward facing, and is very obviously textured. Painting is surrounded by a gorgeously worn and aged carved gilt frame. Frame and painting were sourced together by seller, but re-positioned and cleaned up so the backing wouldn't be in danger of deteriorating. Measurements 14 1/2" tall 10 1/2" wide 1 1/2" deep
