This set of nine (9) authentic antique 19th century limited edition chromolithographs (stone lithographs in colors where each color was laid in with a separate lithographic stone) are from images drawn by William Gibb (England/Scotland 1839-1929). The prints in this series were limited to an edition of 1040 with 50 additional artist's proofs (see photo). All the musical instruments depicted are of historical and musical importance. In addition,the book was dedicated to the Prince of Wales Alfred Hipkins letterpress descriptions are included (printed in red and black).[see photos] Historic, rare, unique and beautiful.
