This set of seven (7) imperial folio size 19th century steel engravings depict architectural details of the Palais de Fontainebleau. Engravers at times literally went blind after a lifetime of intricate engraving. The images in this series were printed in Paris on heavy "wove" paper. Printed on one side only. Great for one large wall treatment or two smaller groupings. If you need more for an even larger grouping please let us know. We have more images from this series that are not yet listed.
