Antique 19th c. John James Audubon large hand colored lithograph from "The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America". Depicts the male White American Wolf or Canis Lupus, Linn (Var. Albus.). Lith. Printed & Colored by J. T. Bowen, Philadelphia 1845. Measures 27 3/4" x 21 1/2". Handsomely framed under glass in fabric mat. Measures 32 1/2 x 27 1/8" framed. Good condition. We have a collection of four large original Audubon prints from this series all similarly framed. Please disregard glare on glass - print is clean and crisp.
