Antique 18th Century engravings of London in hand-colored and black and white engravings. The set represents sceneries of London in the 18th century. 1-View of the Monument Erected in Memory of the Dreadful Fire in the Year 1666, rebublished by Laurie & Whittle, 53, Fleet Street, London, and renowned English writing master and engraver George Bickham the Elder (1684–1769). The monument stands at the junction of monument Street and Fish Street Hill in the City of London. It was built between 1671 and 1677 to commemorate the Great Fire of London and to celebrate the rebuilding of the City. 2-View of Westminster Bridge Over the River Thames in London, Seen from the Garden of Somerset House, London c. 1795. Published by Robert Sayer and based on a design by Johann Sebastian Muller, after Venetian artist Canaletto. 3-Interior of the Royal Exchange, London Re-Published July12th 1822, by R.h Laurie, N. 53, Fleet Street, London. Published by Robert Sayer. They are professionally framed and matted in giltwood frames. The frames style are not matching, on purpose I believe, but the mats are. They are all the same size but the colorized one, which is 1/2 wider.
