"Vews of Rome" lovely etching by Agapito Franzetti of Piazza Navona from the early 1800's. Lovely marbled paper matte and wood frame. It is stated on the bottom, "View of the great Piazza Navona, site of the ancient and famous Circus Agonalis built by Alexander Severus, who also had his baths nearby." There is currently a "secret" entrance to the ancient baths through a storefront in Piazza Navona. Agapito was a print publisher and engraver in Rome.
