Striking antique Mexican retablo of a praying couple. Very well done naive painting with special detail on the couple. This devotional artwork is beautifully double framed with an inner gilt frame mounted to a painted wood board and an outer gilt frame. Dated 1892, originally from the state of Michoacán, Mexico.
