Up for sale is a very nice quality antique mid 18th century original ornamental urn sketch. It's drawn with a realistic approach and has an exquisite figural design. The ornate detailing constructs a lovely composition throughout the form with nude cherubs, male portrait handles, and scalloped accents. It is drawn on paper and matted with a handmade applied gold gilding matting. The drawing is mounted in an original period gold gilded frame and displays wonderfully. It measures 11 1/2 inches by 9 inches framed. In nice condition, it has some very slight discoloration to the paper and some gilding loss/small crack to the frame.
