This is a RARE set of 3 original French antique ornamental architectural designs that feature inspirational decorative drawings for wall panels, textiles, leatherworks, ceramics, jewelry, etc etc. They are hard to date but we estimate them to be from the mid-1800s. They are pen and ink drawings done on artisinal paper. Each image has an imprint on the side that refers to the printer or paper company. See last photo which we enlarged to show this. Each design plate is horizontal in format and measures 15 x 8.5 inches; the paper inclusive of documentation to edge measures 18 x 11.75 inches. Each design is numbered.
