Antique Set Of Six River Landscapes Paintngs 19th Century

This is a beautiful set of six English antique oil on board paintings of "river landscapes" attributed to Walter Williams (1834-1906), circa 1880 in date. The river landscape paintings depict six scenes, two of a gentleman fishing, a mother with her children, a bridge with a ruin in the back ground, a man and child on a boat, and women tending to the fields The artist has used a very delicate palette of colours and has succeeded in adding some mystery to the scene.
