Classic abstract serigraph by important German artist and designer Anton Stankowski (1906-1998). Regarded as one of the most influential designers of the last century, Stankowski pioneered the Constructive movement in graphic design. This fine example of his work is from a 1997 limited edition (n. 75 of 500) collection titled "Konstruktion und Intuition" printed in Germany by Frank Kicherer, Stuttgart. A small, affordable jewel created by this Mid-century master. Original serigraph with colors in bright condition, printed on a sturdy sheet of white vellum, 8.25 x 11.75 inches, blank on the verso. The image area is approximately 5 x 6 inches. The print is initialed in the plate and signed on the cover sheet, a copy of which will be included. I've included one photograph of two Stankowski pieces matted in 18" x 18" frames to illustrate how beautiful these works can look.
