I painted this sweet little ode to spring while at my desk, staring outside the window at my neighbor's fruit tree--heavy with gorgeous green apples. I filmed a stop motion video while painting it. It is landscape-oriented, painted on a 6x8 birch board with an unpainted 7/8 inch pale wood cradle. Featured colors include lovely lime and apple green, pops of pistachio, a deep leafy hunter green, and splashes of emerald. The sky beyond the leaves is pale ultramarine and deeper pops of the same hue.
