This drawing is one of nine fragments cut from an untitled composition completed by Gorky in 1946, which was later divided into nine discrete sections between circa 1957-1964. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
