Arthur D. Fuller "Country Home" Original Watercolor c.1940s Original watercolor by listed artist Arthur Davenport Fuller (American, 1889-1966). The painting measures 13.5" x 9". The frame measures 22" x 17". Signed in the lower right corner. Illustrator Arthur Fuller was born in Exeter, New Hampshire, and educated at Harvard University, the Fenway School of Illustration in Boston, and the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. Earlier in his career, Fuller had illustrated more general subject matter for many major magazines, including Greenbook, where he started, Redbook, The Saturday Evening Post, Colliers, The Ladies Home Journal, Cosmopolitan, The American Legion, and McCalls. He was a member of the Animal Artists Society, the Salmagundi Club, the Westport Artists, and the Society of Illustrators in New York. Very good vintage condition. Lightly distressed frame.
