Working in warm-grained suar wood, Eka depicts one of the legendary ponies from Sumba Island. They descended from ancient Chinese and Mongolian horses, which bred with Arabian steeds to become Indonesia's native sandalwood ponies. Beautifully carved by hand, this relief panel is designed for wall display.
