About the artist: Arturo Bonanomi was born in Lecco, Italy establishing himself as a painter after having trained in restoration and interior design. Bonanomi achieved much commercial success throughout his lifetime and exhibited across Italy and Southern Europe. Focusing on rural, still life and alpine landscapes Bonanomi drew inspiration from the mountainous landscape of Northern Italy. His paintings express a rustic simplicity and deep pictorial understanding of rural life. Bonanomi artwork are held in museums and collections worldwide.
