Oil and acrylic on canvas and jute. Three portraits of Asian girls, seeking empathy. Perhaps they are looking at the mirror, absorbed in their thoughts, worried about the post-pandemic era, hoping to escape, in a better future. They are introspective portraits, between being and appearing, so much so that small figures leap in front of them, as a psychological emanation, symbolizing the desire for novelty. Presented here as a triptych; the portraits are also offered separately (40x40 cm each).
