''Passing'' is original etching on paper, realized by the French artist Auguste Brouet in the early 20th Century. In very good condition, except for a yellowish stain at the top. This artwork represents a passing man lying down in an interior, surrounded by people empathetically, depicted skillfully through confident and short strokes with well-defined hatching. Auguste Brouet (1872–1941) was a French etcher and book illustrator. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
