''The Market'' is an original etching on paper, realized by the French artist Auguste Brouet in the early 20th Century. In very good condition, except for a small yellowish stain at the top right. These artwork represents the crowd of a market, depicted skillfully through confident and short strokes with well-defined hatching. Auguste Brouet (1872–1941) was a French etcher and book illustrator. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
