Barbara McLean is an impressionistic landscape painter from Nevada. She graduated from the University of Nevada Reno in 1955 and has been painting locally since. Art organizations include the Oklahoma Art Guild, 1971-1999; Nevada Artists Association, 1999-2004; and Latimer Club, 2004 to present. I have been a member of the Artist Co-Op Gallery of Reno since 2002, where my work may currently be seen. "Truckee River" 2008 is an acrylic on canvas painting measuring 22" x 25" framed. This painting is an excellent example of her impressionistic style utilizing the true colors of nature. Unfortunately, the carved wooden frame was damaged while being moved but can be restored without trouble.
