Bartolomeo Pinelli Engraving "The Sabine Rats Under the Rein of Romulus" c.1816 This is an original engraving by Italian master Pinelli. From his engravings of the History of the Roman Empire. The plate marks measure 16 3/4" x 12 1/4". The laid paper with full margins measure 22 1/2" x 17". At 201 years old, this engraving does have some foxing / consistent with it's age. This will look amazing once properly matted and framed. Be sure to use archival materials when framing to protect this Italian art treasure for another two centuries. AC11
