This is a really wonderful painting from the 1930s/1940s in the true WPA style of a country landscape. It is signed “Madge Huntington” on the reverse. The colors are strong and the painting could be hung as-is; framed and hung; or cleaned before hanging. There are a couple of surface scratches (please see photos) but otherwise there does not appear to be any paint loss or canvas damage. Condition is consistent with age and materials. 14 inches x 16 inches x 1 inch
