Bengt Orup (1916–1996) was a Swedish painter and glass artist, educated at Konstfack in Stockholm. He was associated with Johansfors Glasbruk and later Orrefors, where he became one of the leading innovators of Swedish glass design in the 1950s and 1960s. As a painter, he worked primarily with abstract expression, strong colour contrasts, and experimental compositions, placing him among the central figures of post-war Nordic modernism.
